I had big plans for today. So much to do…and time is not going to stop for me. However, my body would not cooperate with me today, so, I’ve spent it on the couch instead. To pass the time, I’ve taken a little trip through the Internet. Somewhere along the way, I ran across these old ads. I thought they were a hoot! Couldn’t get away with running some of these today! Enjoy!

So glad these went out of style before I was old enough to wear them…I’m afraid my OCD tendencies would have run wild trying to keep the seams straight! But, cute shoes!

Love the old ads. I remember my Dad getting cigarettes for Christmas. That ironing boards seems to be a little pricey for the time period! I have been catching up on reading posts from last week – hope you are a little warmer now. It appears to be more like Christmas weather where you are than here in CO. The mountains are getting tons of snow – some are predicted to get 6-8 feet by the end of the week, but here in the city nothing. I have lived here all my life and can never remember now having snow this late in the year. Hope your body is cooperating with you today!
