Up early this morning, have a good breakfast, then get in the car and head out. Much to see today. First stop…drug store..I’m having some knee issues and need a brace. Go it and off we go. On to the Iao Needle State Park.. This is where a very famous battle took place as King Kahmehameha was trying to unite all the islands. It is a most beautiful rock formation in a lovely valley. They walked to the top, but I decided not to stress my knee, so I made phone calls home. After their return we toured the museum home of one of the first missionaries on the islands. How interesting. This is the actual house they lived in. Hawaiian history has always been fascinating to me, so I really gleaned alot from this stop.

I also have dear friends to keep me inspired. I am an artist of sorts and am finding my way through the great blessing of retirement. I recently retired after 20 years as a music teacher.
