Can you believe that it is almost Thanksgiving? Of course, to be in the stores…you would think we didn’t even celebrate Thanksgiving anymore. I even went in one store where they had a big clearance table that had all the Halloween mess and the Pilgrims and cornucopias on it! Hello-O! Thanksgiving hasn’t even gotten here yet. It’s very sad to me. Anyway…in case you feel, like I do, that Thanksgiving is an important day, and should be celebrated as such, I have gathered some pics of lovely tables and centerpieces that I think you may enjoy seeing.

While sitting at the hospital this morning, before and after the birth…I needed something to do since the doctors and nurses obviously didn’t want or need my expert advice. I decided to tell the story of my sweet grand-nephew with the newspaper and a magazine I had brought to read. Yes, some of the pics are a little fuzzy. Chalk it up to my excitement. Today is the birthday of my middle son, Alex. I have no words to say what I feel for this beautiful gift from God. He has the most gentle spirit, and quiet wisdom. He is a source of courage and inspiration to many. He knows me, and encourages me. He is a joy. He is my sunshine.
